Description

8:00-9:00am – Registration & Breakfast

9:00-9:30am – Modern Application Architecture with Docker

App development is moving toward cloud and microservice architectures. Docker is at the vanguard of that shift providing the enabling platform for app development and delivery. In this keynote session, we’ll examine this shift and how Docker provides the agility, control and portability needed for your modern application architecture to thrive.

9:30-10:10am – Understanding the Docker Platform

The Docker platform brings together a series of capabilities spanning orchestration, security, scheduling, management, networking and content distribution. In this session we’ll describe how these components form the Docker platform, and how they provide teams with the agility, portability and control needed for modern app architectures to support the software supply chain.

10:10-10:40am – Delivering ‘Containers as a Service’ in your environment.

In this session, we’ll examine the opportunity for deploying Docker to facilitate agility, control and portability of applications based containers. We’ll cover typical use cases and milestones on the way to a CaaS environment, and how the various components of Docker interact and integrate with your existing environment.

Organized by

Docker is the world's leading software container platform. Developers use Docker to eliminate “works on my machine” problems when collaborating on code with co-workers. Operators use Docker to run and manage apps side-by-side in isolated containers to get better compute density. Enterprises use Docker to build agile software delivery pipelines to ship new features faster, more securely and with confidence for both Linux and Windows Server applications.
